Check your place for standing water that’s hidden. Standing water is a huge attraction for pests. Inspect your home and look for leaky pipes. Also, the trays holding your indoor plants might conceal standing water, as well. Pests require water to thrive, so getting rid of it will make it that much harder for pests to live in your home.

If you have a water leak, fix it promptly. All pests need a water source to survive. They are able to detect drips and leaks from a long way off. You do not want to be invaded by pests in your home. Put in a little effort and deal with your pest problem before it gets out of hand.

It can be awfully hard to eliminate fleas, but there are a few good tips to help you get rid of both the fleas and their eggs. The first thing to do is to thoroughly vacuum everyday, than spray the area with a good flea spray. When you have finished vacuuming, put your vacuum cleaner bag inside a plastic bag, seal it and put it in the hot sun. After it’s been in the sun for a day, throw it away.
