Struggling with ants? Get rid of them by using a mixture of sugar and borax. The sugar will attract the pest, but the borax is going to kill bugs and small rodents. Use a quart jar with equal parts of each. Sprinkle the mixture along the foundation and baseboards of the home.
When you put bushes around your house, put them about 12 inches away from your home at minimum. A pile of brush is an inviting home for household pests. If bushes are near your windows or any other point of entrance, bugs will come off the bushes into your house.
Seal all of the cracks that are in your home to control pests. These can be an open door for pests that are looking for a way into your home. They will be locked out tight if you seal up these small openings.
Be sure to rinse containers thoroughly before you add them to your recycle bin. It is very important to get rid of the soda in the cans. Rinse soda cans and bottles carefully so the sugar does not attract pests in your garage.
There are a lot of ways you can get rid of pests. Regardless of the method that you select, it must be safe to use around your family. Eliminating pests is important to maintain your health, but don’t make the cure worse than the disease because you didn’t do your research.
